  • Do I get a certificate?
  • Can I do the course on-line?

What do I need to bring?
You will definitely need
  • a laptop and power pack
  • either the files emailed to you before the course or make sure your USB slots work
You may also want
  • An external mouse (check it works / batteries / Bluetooth etc)
  • Pen and paper
  • Comfort items (your own water bottle / sweets)
What happens if I can’t attend
We understand that things happen; even with the best intentions. If you can’t attend both days, or day 2, we can move you to the next course but can’t guarantee when it will be so let’s try and avoid it - it might get awkward.

Do I get a Certificate
No - don’t be silly.

Can I do the course on-line?
No. Financial modelling is an interactive and multi-faceted activity, your learning experience will be leveraged by the questions asked by other participants and the focus that only comes from being in the room. We personally like and participate in formal on-line training for more academic pursuits and it doesn't suit professional financial modelling.

How long are the days?
Officially the courses will run from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. However the room will usually be open from 8:00 AM and we won’t leave until either everybody is happy or we all get kicked out! Lunch is a full hour but morning and afternoon breaks are short.

What preparation do I need to do?
There is no pre-course homework – let’s face it nobody really does it - but you do need to
  • Be familiar with the computer you are going to use on the day.
  • Check the files sent to you ahead of the day open on the computer you are going to use.
  • Arrive on time :-)
I need to be contactable by my boss / pregnant wife / talent agent....
Sure. It's best to let people know that you are in a training course and save calls / emails up for the breaks but if you need to duck out just respect everybody else by doing so quietly.
